The Illusionary Woman

The Illusionary Woman is an experimental phototgraph from the series the Wild Ones Rome and the collection called Beyond Cave Painting.

“The tourist is in a frenzied state. Waht to do? As she frets, her attention is drawn to a woman, a mirage, gracefully passing before the her eyes. The woman is beyond her reach. She glides on air slowly moving farther away, and slipping behind an iron gate, bricks, concrete, and wild weeds until she is out of sight.”

The effects of the image happen are created on film and in the camera.

This project is an visual exploration of memory and new perspectives.
